“I’m not a regular photographer, I’m a cool photographer”.
Yours is a love story for the ages; capture it with story-centered photos that you can feel.
There’s no story like yours. You are unique, one-of-a-kind, and so is your love story.
I’m not interested in cookie-cutter poses or boring prompts and fake smiles. I want the candid, the raw emotions, the way you melt into each other’s arms, the loud and the messy; I want to hear all about your inside jokes, quirky habits, and all of the things that make you, you.
As an artist, I find a lot of inspiration in light, shadows, and candid moments; but you are my greatest inspiration.
Instead of asking you two to stand in a stiff pose, or hold a fake smile, I’ll ask you about your relationship: how do you like to hold and be held by one another, what do you do for fun together, what is your favorite physical attribute of one another, what’s a quirky thing you two only do together?
Using your answers to these types of questions, I’ll create personalized prompt and pose ideas that will capture your love story in beautiful photos that you can actually feel.
I love creating whimsical, joy-filled, and romantic experiences for my couples that feel way more like a date night than a boring photo shoot. And I love working with couples who long for that kind of experience with story-centered, cinematic photos.
As an artist, I find a lot of inspiration in light, shadows, and candid emotions. But my greatest inspiration is you. My story-centered and cinematic photography style puts you and your love story in focus. I want to know what makes your relationship special, unique, and full of love, and capture it in beautiful photos you can actually feel.
Inquire. Complete and submit an inquiry form on my contact page, and I will be in touch within 24 hours with my couples’ pricing guide and booking information! You don’t have to write a novel in your inquiry form, but the more details I have, the better. I want to make sure we’re the best fit for one another, and hearing your vision and details is so helpful in that!
Define the Relationship. If after reading your inquiry and emailing with you, I think we’re a great fit for each other, I’ll share a booking proposal with you! This is where you can sign the contract and submit your retainer fee. Once I have a signed contract and a paid retainer, you’ll be officially booked, and your date will be reserved!
You’re Booked! After doing a little happy dance, I will share your styling guide and everything you need to feel prepared for your couples session. About a week before your session, I will reach out with questions for each of you, which will help me get to know you better, and create a personalized session for you!
What do we do if there’s bad weather, or we need to reschedule?
Do you travel outside of Dallas-Fort Worth?
Will you give us location ideas?
Can we bring our dogs?
Can we add-on prints and albums after we’ve booked?
Can we see example galleries before we book?
This is our first time booking a professional photographer. Will you tell us what to expect?
This is true for a lot of my couples! Engagement photos are often the first time they’ve hired a professional photographer, and I totally understand the nerves that come with that. Your photos are an investment. Protect your investment by finding a photographer whose work you love, and then also make sure you feel comfortable with them. How you feel in front of the camera is how you’ll look in your photos. You want a photographer who can set the tone for you, make you feel comfortable, and create a place you feel safe to be your authentic self.
