When it comes to weddings, there are a lot of opinions.
Blogs, magazines, and even people around us seem to all have a different opinion on how to plan a wedding, how to create a budget, and what you should prioritize.
But here’s the thing - they’re not living in your love story. Only you know the moments you never want to forget from your wedding day, and which services and experiences are most important to you.
So to cut through these voices and articles, as helpful as they may be, I want you and your sweetheart to go on a “dream date.”
This is where you will dream together, and walk away feeling fully aligned in planning your dream wedding.
Take some journals or scrap paper, and each of you write down every idea, vision, vendor, or thought you’ve ever had about your dream wedding. When you’re done, compare lists and find the things that you have in common. Where are you fully aligned? Circle those things, and let them be your priorities in planning and budgeting.
Next thing I want you to do is think forward in time to when you’ve been married for 5, 10, 15 years. When your husband or wife reaches for your wedding album, what do you want to feel and remember when you look through your photos together? What experience do you want to relive when you look through your wedding gallery together in 10 years? Who is there, what are the feelings of the day, where are you, what do the photos themselves look like?
Why am I suggesting dream dates and asking what you want to feel in 10 years? Because your wedding is a literal once-in-a-lifetime experience. And I want you to have the experience of your dreams, with photos that fully tell the story of your love so you can feel the emotions and experience every time you look back through them. This is the heartbeat of story-centered photography, and it is what I do best.

I want to give my couples unforgettable experiences, and honestly just serve the heck out of them from booking through delivering their gallery. For this reason, I take on a limited number of weddings per year, and only book one wedding per weekend.
It’s important to me that I’m giving each of my couples my full attention, energy, time, and effort, and I know to do that well, I have to honor my own capacity.

The Booking Process
STEP ONE //
Inquiry. Complete and submit an inquiry form on my contact page, and I will be in touch within 24 hours with my wedding pricing guide and booking information! You don’t have to write a novel in your inquiry form, but the more details I have, the better. I want to make sure we’re a good fit for one another, and hearing your vision and details for your wedding is so helpful in that!
STEP TWO //
Let’s Make it Official! We’ll schedule a pre-booking call where we’ll chat face to face over zoom, and get to know one another! I love it when both partners can be present for these calls so we can all three be there for the fun. At the end of the call, if it sounds like we’re a good fit to work together, I’ll share a booking proposal with you. This is where you can sign the contract and submit your retainer fee. Once I have a signed contract and a paid retainer, you’ll be officially booked, and your date will be reserved!
STEP THREE //
You’re Booked! After doing a little happy dance, I’ll send you your wedding checklist and planning guide. I will be in your corner every step of the way with regular check-point emails, and planning calls to ensure I have everything I need for your wedding day!

Do you travel outside of DFW?
Yes! I’m always excited to celebrate with you wherever you’re located, or wherever you’re headed! I’ve traveled to Santa Fe, NM, Palm Springs, CA, Bend, OR, Flagstaff, AZ, and Palm Beach, FL for weddings and couples sessions, and would love to chat with you about where you’re planning your special day!
What is a retainer fee?
Retainer fees secure your date. Once I have your signed contract and paid retainer fee, I block off your date, and will not accept any other jobs that day - I’m all yours! Having the retainer fee upfront protects your date, and allows me to give you my full attention and focus.
Will you help us with our wedding timeline?
Yes! I will send you a questionnaire where you can tell me all about your wedding plans, the moments that are most important to you, who will be there for wedding party photos and family portraits, and anything else that’s important to you! Once I have this info, I’ll draft a photo-timeline for you. As we get closer to your wedding date, I will reach out to touch base about your overall timeline, and see if there’s anything we need to adjust for your photography timeline.
Why do I need a second professional photographer?
I have a second professional photographer with me at every wedding because they are peace of mind, both for you and me. So many parts of a wedding day are true once-in-a-lifetime, unrepeatable moments; and having the security of an extra set of eyes (and cameras!) is peace of mind for me knowing everything will be doubly covered. Second professional photographers are also able to capture more unique angles, perspectives, or even give us the gift of being in two places at once during tighter timelines. You and I can both rest easy knowing your wedding day is fully covered from every angle!
What happens if you’re unable to photograph our wedding due to a family emergency or illness?
In the event I’m unable to be there, whether it’s a family emergency, illness, or something else, I will first notify my second shooter. Remember when I said second professional photographers are peace of mind for both of us? This is why. I know that I already have someone else lined up to be there with you! And, I will also arrange for an associate photographer to step in as either the lead or second photographer. If this were to happen, I would notify you, and let you know what changes (if any) to expect.
